Dr Balwinder is a highly qualified Rhinologist with extensive experience in complex sinus surgery. He completed his Fellowship in Rhinology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide in 2005 and is certified by the prestigious Royal Australian College of Surgeons.
Beyond routine sinus procedures, Dr Balwinder is a specialist in managing challenging cases. He has performed a significant number of major cancer surgeries involving the nose and paranasal sinuses. A specialist in Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB), Dr Balwinder honed his expertise at Flinders University Hospital in Adelaide during the 1 year he was in sub-specialty training in Adelaide, Australia. He’s a passionate educator, training both specialists and medical staff in this vital field. For over a decade, Dr Balwinder has spearheaded the National Putrajaya Sleep Disordered Breathing workshop, a biennial event equipping specialists and paramedical staff with the necessary skills in this niche area. He set up the first fully functioning 4 bedded sleep lab in Malaysia at the Endocrine Institute equipped with the latest technology.
