Why Laser use in the nose needs to be avoided at all cost

The video is made with both the patients as well as ENT doctors in mind. It is a well known fact that Laser sounds very high tech and precise which in the right situation it really is but patients need to know what they are getting into when they choose Laser as a modality for turbinate reduction &/or sinus surgery. For my ENT colleagues using Laser, I hope that it will make them realise the tremendous harm that superficial ablation (synonym for ablate is vaporize) using Laser is doing to their patients in the short , medium and long term. For my ENT colleagues using other methods, I hope this will spur them to learn the more surgically challenging method described for the vastly superior results it delivers to the patient.
